Simple Plan: band of the summer? All
of Ester Bucaria We have already made us dream with two CDs: "No Pads, No Helmets ... Just Balls" and "Still Not Getting Any."
They made us wait for almost four years. And finally
February 15, 2008, released their latest work, indeed, he deserved all this waiting anxiously: "Simple Plan". That's right, it's called just like the Canadian band that created it: the five kids feel very represented by this music, and that is why they chose their third studio album to carry their name.
The band was officially born in Montreal in 1999, then in its third CD, but the new disc, as previously announced, has surprised a bit 'all. It has a bit more of the first two.
will be on the three great producers who have collaborated in its realization, Danja, Max Martin and Dave Fortman?
Was it a mix between the music of Justin Timberlake (which, they said in interviews, were inspired) and their unbridled energy and bold, wrap their hearts?
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I'm really matured musically, and wanted to give us the same slap-up, different from usual but even more compelling precedents.
But what's the revolution? It can be said is that especially in the first part of the CD, in the first six songs. In these subjects, Simple Plan have indulged and have created some wonderful mixtures of various kinds and their pop punk ever, something they were not expected.
In the second part can be found the old-style Simple Plan, with hits like "Time To Say Goodbye."
From the CD were two singles: the first, "When I'm Gone", has brought forward the release of the album, and his text speaks of the breaking of the relationship between Pierre, a leader and voice of the group, and his girlfriend, while the second is titled "Your Love Is A Lie" and expresses anger at the false loves and betrayals. The central subject, in fact, it is love, love story in different shades, there are also issues such as the rebellion in "Generation" (also very original song, with rhythm almost hip-hop and where ... there is even a trumpet!) and the fight against cancer "Save You" (song dedicated to the brother of the singer of the group).
short, there is much to discover. And like the new Simple Plan, as evidenced by the sales of the disc so far. Evidently, it is worth working for so long (they entered the studio in June 2007). The boys were a bit 'scared to change, to move away from their musical habits, for being too bold ... but they have taken up the challenge with themselves, and have done well!
did not disappoint their fans but at the same time create something new that has attracted many music lovers.
